Computational Fluid Dynamics:
AVL FIRE – (2007 - present) active use and participation in development of combustion-related modules including the verification, validation and reporting (PhD thesis); active user of all modules related to combustion, like Combustion, Species transport, Radiation and Spray; moderate use of modules Porosity and Multiphase (Diploma thesis). Actively used FIRE not only in collaboration with AVL, but also on the EU co-financed project High Altitude Wind Energy (HAWE) for performing aerodynamic simulations of flow around rotating cylinder in 2D and 3D; high-level experience in performing large-scale computations (Large Eddy Simulations) and good skills in writing user functions for development of the FIRE sub-models and their testing in parallel processing environment.
Fluent – (2005-2006) extensive use during the last years of diploma study for simulation of centrifugal pumps and injectors.
